Trick-shot king announces
return to Scottish Golf Show
Organisers of the 2008 Scottish Golf Show are delighted to announce that world-renowned trick-shot specialist Dave Edwards is returning to this year’s event, taking place from April 4-6 at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston.
Regular visitors to the three-day golfing extravaganza will already be well familiar with Dave, who has been a huge hit at the previous two stagings of the event – but it doesn’t matter if you’ve seen him before because, this year, the former European Tour pro will be debuting a whole new set of tricks, exclusively for the Scottish Golf Show!
Past shows have seen the charismatic trick-shot king execute all manner of weird and wonderful golf shots, from striking balls using flimsy rubber clubs and hose pipes, to smacking perfectly straight drives off six-foot high tees.
At last year’s Scottish Golf Show, he even beat his own world record for the most golf balls hit in three minutes – managing a whopping 311 in just 180 seconds!
However, his repertoire this year promises to be his most jaw-dropping and mind-bogglingly brilliant yet.
Show director Tom Lovering commented: “I think most people would agree with me in saying that Dave has proven to the be the real star of the previous two Scottish Golf Shows, so we are thrilled that he will be back again this year, showcasing his newest spectacular trick-shots.
“I would encourage everyone to come along and see his unique performances, which will take place at regular intervals on each of the three days. Believe me, you will be amazed at what this man can do with a golf club and ball!”
