Big brands lining up for
Scottish Golf Show

Some of the biggest brand names in the golf industry have signed up to showcase their new equipment at the 2008 Scottish Golf Show, organisers have announced.
In attendance at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, near Edinburgh, will be leading equipment manufacturers Nike Golf, TaylorMade, Yonex, MacGregor Golf and Cleveland Golf.

Nike Golf will be showcasing its new SQ SUMO 5000 and SQ SUMO² 5900 drivers while the new Burner and r7 SuperQuad models from TaylorMade will be on show.

Visitors will also be able to hit the new Nanospeed i driver from Yonex, as used by Colin Montgomerie, and the impressive MACTEC NVG2 driver from MacGregor Golf. Last but not least, the stunning new HiBORE XLS family from Cleveland Golf will make its grand entrance to Scottish golf at the show, which takes place on April 4-6.

The inclusion of these top brands means the 2008 Scottish Golf Show will have more new drivers, and new golf equipment in general, than ever before. Other brands that will be showcasing their new range include Ben Sayers, Heritage Golf and Bobby Jones Golf.

A total of 32 driving bays will allow golfers to hit any club they wish, while the 420 sq/m american golf shop, almost a third bigger in size than last year, will have the latest equipment for sale.

Event Director Tom Lovering said: “We are absolutely delighted to see so many well-known brands exhibiting at the 2008 Scottish Golf Show. With more brands, a much larger american golf shop and 32 driving bays, we are giving visitors who are looking for some new equipment more choice than ever before.”

The Scottish Golf Show will take place at the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, on April 4-6.
