SET TO BE THE BIGGEST
AND BEST YET
Less than 10 days exist before the Scottish Golf Show gets underway – and excitement is already building amongst golfers across Scotland.
This year’s show promises to be the biggest and best yet, with more exhibitor stands, more interactive features than ever before and even the presence of the Ryder Cup.
New to this year’s show is the short game area, a massive 320sq/m space that will be exclusively operated by leading golf manufacturer Cleveland Golf, with the company’s world famous wedges available for use.
Dave Edwards will also be returning to Ingliston to run through his famous trick shot show while the PGA Scottish Region is offering free PGA coaching to visitors.
A total of 32 driving bays will allow golfers to hit any club they wish, while the 420 sq/m american golf shop, almost a third bigger in size than last year, will have the latest equipment for sale.
Kevin Craggs, one of Scotland’s top coaches, will spend all three days at the show. He will have his own teaching area and will provide expert tuition throughout the day via his own private lessons. He will also be launching his new putting aid.
Event Director Tom Lovering said: “We are now counting the days before the 2008 Scottish Golf Show gets underway so it is a very exciting time. Our office has been flooded with calls and the website is getting a massive amount of hits. Also significant is that early ticket sales are way ahead compared to this time last year.
“All in all, the run-up to the show is gaining momentum, which is a very good sign indeed.”
The Scottish Golf Show will take place at the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, on April 4-6.
