Tour-style custom fitting comes
to Scottish Golf Show

Completely free of charge PGA Tour-style custom fitting is coming to the Scottish Golf Show, organisers have announced.

TaylorMade, the No.1 driver brand on tours worldwide, is bringing its high-tech custom build truck – called ‘The Tour Experience’ – to the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston near Edinburgh and will custom fit golfers on the spot for the very latest top-of-the-range TaylorMade equipment.

To take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, visitors must pre-book their fitting with a representative of TaylorMade. Just visit the ‘Tour Experience’ truck and ask about booking a fitting.

TaylorMade staff will use the latest tour-style technology, including Trackman, and will custom-fit TaylorMade drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons and wedges.

Matthew Johnson, TaylorMade’s head of marketing, said this was an early-season opportunity keen golfers could not afford to miss.

“We will be able to build clubs specifically suited to any golfer in a matter of minutes,” said Johnson. “This is the exact same kind of fitting experience that TaylorMade’s team of tour players go through, so this really is a great opportunity to get your clubs fitted by experienced industry professionals.”

Event Director Tom Lovering said: “TaylorMade’s truck has always been a busy attraction at the show and, now that the TaylorMade team will be custom fitting golfers on the spot, we expect the ‘Tour Experience’ truck to once again be one of the star attractions at the 2008 Scottish Golf Show.”

TaylorMade will be running a number of offers at the show while interested visitors are advised to book their fitting early to avoid disappointment.

The Scottish Golf Show will take place at the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, on April 4-6.
