Visitors to the 2011 Scottish Golf Show will be given the chance to share in Europe’s momentous Ryder Cup victory at Celtic Manor by having their picture taken with the famous trophy, absolutely free of charge.

The silverware will be on display at the ever-popular three-day show, which takes place from April 8-10 at the SECC in Glasgow, and organisers are expecting a huge upsurge in participator interest following last year’s staging of golf’s most prestigious team event.

Of course, the image of Scottish legend and European captain Colin Montgomerie holding aloft the trophy upon clinching the single-point victory over the USA has become an iconic one, and rightly so.
