If you think your game needs a little attention before the golf season kicks off, one of the best things you can do is go to see your nearest pro for some pointers.
Or, better still, you could head along to the 2011 Scottish Golf Show, where free lessons from top PGA professionals are up for grabs.
The three-day show, being held from April 8-10 at the SECC in Glasgow, has teamed up with the Professional Golfers’ Association to offer visitors a free ten-minute lesson with a fully qualified PGA professional.
Following great success last year, it’s predicted that over 1,500 lessons will be delivered to keen golfers of all ages and handicaps.
Scottish Golf Show organiser Tom Lovering commented: “The free coaching is always one of the best-received areas of the show, so we are delighted to be able to welcome the PGA professionals back again this year.”
“If there is one thing that every golfer wants to do, it is improve and with a ten-minute lesson from a PGA professional they can do just that.”
Readers of Scotland’s No.1 golf magazine, bunkered, will be familiar with Instruction Consultant Editor Kevin Craggs, who will also be handing out advice at the show from his Golf Academy and letting you in on a few secrets on how to drive the ball long like the pros.
So, if you’re looking to improve, and fast, there is no better place to be.
Don’t forget, by pre-booking your tickets for this year’s show, you will be entitled to two free rounds of golf – one at Gleddoch House Hotel and Golf Club and one at The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort – and a season pass to the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. All this for only £10!
