The 2009 golf season is set to tee-off in Glasgow following the announcement that next year’s Scottish Golf Show is to be held at the SECC from March 20-22.

This follows the decision by the organisers of the annual event to relocate the increasingly-popular three-day golfing bonanza to Scotland’s premier exhibition centre from its previous home at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, near Edinburgh.

The Ingliston venue had hosted the event since its inception in 2006 and, while it served the show well, the hope is that the move to the SECC will take the Scottish Golf Show to a whole new level, with a record 20,000 visitors predicted to attend next year.
